Tech Tip of the Month!	End of Year Technology “Must Dos” and “May Dos” for Teachers & Staff!

MUST DO 2nd - 12th Grade Teachers! *Remember, if you are a Seesaw user, you don't have to do anything!	MAY DO  All  Grade Levels! —----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ParentSquare All posts and messages are automatically archived.  IF you want to keep copies, the easiest way is to copy/paste your information into a Google Doc for safekeeping. Google Drive Create a folder in Drive and name it 2022-2023.  Drag everything from this year into the folder. To select all files, click Ctrl + a Copy by clicking Ctrl + c Go into your new folder and paste by clicking Ctrl + v Need more organizing tips?  Check this out! Google Calendar Hide any Google Classroom Calendars from this year (you can also delete them) Gmail Take some time to clean up your Gmail.  Need help?  Check out Lancy’s how-to for beginners or intermediate users for the basics.  Need tips?  Check out Lancy’s Top 10 Gmail tips in her blog post!
Google Classroom Return all work to students (optional) Create a template (or copy of) each class:  All of your assignments, materials, and topics will be in draft form waiting to be posted for next year!  Archive your classes: You can still reuse posts from archived classes; they will not appear on your (or your students’) Classroom main page! See my blog post from 2020 about GC! If you want to keep your classes, you need to remove the students from the class!
GoGuardian Archive your classes You only need to archive classes you created, not classes created with Clever (If you see the blue “C” you do not have to archive the class).
