January Tech Tip:  Background Removal
Removing Backgrounds	Do you have a photo that you’d love to use as a digital sticker?  Do you have a fun video you want to use as a gif?  Now you can!
Remove.bg https://www.remove.bg/  Removes the backgrounds of photos.  Try to utilize a background without a lot of patterns to get the best results.  Then you can insert your new picture into a Google Drawing to add backgrounds, shapes, thought bubbles, etc!  This is a great way to create personalized digital stickers for your class!
Unscreen https://www.unscreen.com/  Create your own gifs!  Take your video on a cell phone and upload it to your Google Drive.  Then use “Unscreen” to remove the background and download as a GIF (digital moving sticker)!			Here is a helpful YouTube video on using this program!  Here is a GIF I made of my daughter, Mira, dancing. Mira loves bats.  Click here to see her dancing with  her little friends in their cave.
